Julia Matthews is a research specialist at UW-CTRI. Julia assists with the QUITS study, working on data monitoring, reporting, quality assurance and administrative duties.
Julia has a personal connection to UW-CTRI’s mission because her mom smokes. In fact, her mother has even participated in a UW-CTRI research study.
“I’ve always wanted my mom to quit.” The Madison native went to LaFollette High School and graduated from UW in 2014 with bachelor’s degrees in molecular biology and medical microbiology and immunology.
