
UW-CTRI is interested in conducting research on the health effects of cannabis use and the intersection of cannabis and tobacco co-use, particularly as it relates to tobacco dependence and treatment.
Behavioral health

- UW-CTRI manages the Wisconsin Nicotine Treatment Integration Project (WiNTiP).
- WiNTiP works with health care providers to help their patients address use of tobacco as an essential part of treatment for mental illness or other substance use disorders (including cannabis use disorder).
- UW-CTRI’s Outreach Program provides free training and technical assistance to help integrate tobacco dependence treatment and implement tobacco-free environments in behavioral health settings. To learn more, click here.
