UW-CTRI Director Dr. Michael Fiore was a guest on Wisconsin Public Radio’s show “Central Time” during the afternoon commute to discuss smoking and vaping. They talked about the fact that an average of 19 people die every day in Wisconsin from diseases caused directly by smoking. At least 12 people have died across the country this year after using vaping products containing THC purchased on the street. In addition, research shows more kids are trying vapes than ever before. Some research indicates those who vape are more likely to smoke, but more research is needed. To listen to the interview, click here. For the latest on vaping, click here.
