What are the research activities related to this program?
UW-CTRI will conduct the following research activities to evaluate the program:
Once or twice per year, your site will be invited to complete brief surveys to share feedback about the program. These surveys are voluntary and anonymous. The UW-CTRI team may also invite you to share your views via a telephone interview about how the Salvation Army should support tobacco treatment.
UW-CTRI personnel will visit your site twice per month for 1-3 hours to survey participants about their tobacco use and their experience with tobacco-related services at the Salvation Army. Participants will earn $10 gift cards for completing these 10-minute surveys.
Participants who use tobacco will be invited to share their views on how the Salvation Army should offer tobacco-related services in a longer phone interview. They will be paid $30 if they do a phone interview.
You can refer participants for interviews with UW-CTRI research staff.
