Rob Adsit, M.Ed, became the UW-CTRI Director of Outreach Programs in July 2010. He is also an assistant director at UW-CTRI. He joined the UW-CTRI staff in October 2004 as Outreach Supervisor. Adsit aids the regional outreach specialists serving Wisconsin in the work they do with healthcare professionals, healthcare systems and community members. He provides support and assistance with planning, implementation and evaluating outreach projects.
Adsit brings to his work at UW-CTRI knowledge in organization and systems models, community organizing, community relationship–building, and a strong interest in health and economic disparities, diversity and inclusiveness. These skills come from 30 years of community-based work experience–half in public health. Adsit’s experience includes educational program development and implementation, training, technical assistance and grant writing in the areas of tobacco, alcohol and drug abuse.
