Kari Giacalone

Kari Giacalone is the Regulatory and Administrative Coordinator working out of the UW-CTRI Madison offices. Giacalone provides support to UW-CTRI researchers in the areas of quality assurance, regulatory/IRB compliance, and administrative support. She facilitates UW-CTRI’s Data Safety and Monitoring Committee.

A native of the Chicago suburb Winnetka, Giacalone has a master’s degree in public health from the University of Illinois-Chicago and is certified as a clinical research professional. She most recently was a clinical team manager at the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
