Dr. Michael Fiore’s Conflict Statement

Dr. Michael Fiore conforms to all conflict-of-interest policies of the University of Wisconsin Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention. He does not accept personal payments for consulting, lecturing, or other activities from for-profit entities with specific products or services that might pose conflicts of interest (e.g., pharmaceutical companies that market smoking cessation medications). He ceased any such paid activities in 2005. From 1997 to February 2010, Dr. Fiore held a University of Wisconsin (UW) named Chair for the Study of Nicotine Addiction, made possible by a gift to UW by GlaxoWellcome.
