UW-CTRI contributes to the UW Department of Medicine (DOM) in myriad ways – via federal grants, collaborations, communities of practice, publications, sharing of findings and also via participation at UW DOM Research Day.
This year, UW-CTRI Research Director Dr. Danielle McCarthy and Emeritus Researcher Dr. Stevens Smith reviewed posters on display and honored those who shared insightful, interesting and impactful work.
Meanwhile, UW-CTRI Assistant Professor, Hospitalist, and UW-CTRI Medical Director Dr. Brian Williams presented his poster, Predicting E-Cigarette Quit Attempts and Quit Success in Young Adults. UW-CTRI Professor Dr. Wendy Slutske was a co-author of the poster. The authors call for more safe, effective ways to help young adults quit vaping.
